Look at the row carefully, what repeats?
Continue the pattern by filling in the missing parts.
Number patterns: Find out how the numbers go on.

Example
For parents
What does this exercise practice?
This task builds logical thinking and pattern recognition: children learn to spot regular repetitions and continue them confidently.
Common pitfalls
Children often name the next element correctly but cannot explain why. Ask them to say the repeating unit out loud ('It repeats: circle, triangle') before they keep writing.
How to practice at home
Clap rhythmic patterns at the table: clap once, stamp twice, clap once, stamp twice. Who can continue the pattern? Physical patterns make abstract sequences easier to grasp.
