There are blocks in two rows.
Count both rows and calculate with the sign in between.
Example: 8 blocks on top, 5 blocks below, a plus in between.
8 + 5 = 13, so 13 blocks go into the answer.
If there is a minus in between, blocks are taken away.
The number filled in shows the solution.
