Split a number into tens and ones

Every two-digit number is made of tens and ones.
You write down how many tens and how many ones the number has.

Example: The number 36 has 3 tens and 6 ones.
You write the 3 in the T box and the 6 in the O box.

The numbers you write in show the answer.

Common pitfalls

For 40 there are 4 tens and 0 ones. The 0 belongs in the ones box and must not be left out.
