Multiplying means: adding the same thing again and again!
3 × 4 means: 3 groups with 4 things each.
So: 4 + 4 + 4 = 12
2 × 5 means: 2 groups with 5 things each.
So: 5 + 5 = 10

9 × 10 = 10 × 9, the result is always the same!
9 × 10 = 90 and 10 × 9 = 90
