Dividing means sharing out into equal groups.

Example: 15 : 3 = 5
15 marbles are shared among 3 children, each gets 5.

Tip: Dividing is the reverse of multiplying!
15 : 3 = 5 is the same as 3 · 5 = 15.
The numbers filled in show the solution.

Example

15 : 3 =5
16 : 2 =8
