A number tree shows how a number breaks apart into smaller and smaller pieces.
The root at the top splits into two branches, and each branch splits again into two leaves.
Example: 625 = 370 + 255
The 370 branch splits into 185 and 185, the 255 branch splits into 127 and 128.
Tip: Two numbers on one branch always add up to the number above them.
